Terms of Service

By accessing or using JealousRP's services, including our website, game servers, forums, and any related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Services. These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and JealousRP regarding your use of the Services. You must be at least 13 years old to use our Services.

To access certain features of our Services, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are solely responsible for updating your information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You may not: • Create more than one account per person • Share your account with anyone else • Use another person's account without permission • Sell, transfer, or allow others to access your account We reserve the right to disable any user account at any time if, in our opinion, you have failed to comply with these Terms of Service.

As a user of our Services, you agree not to: • Violate any applicable laws or regulations • Infringe upon the rights of others • Use our Services to distribute unauthorized or unsolicited advertising • Attempt to interfere with, compromise the system integrity or security, or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running our Services • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code • Collect or track the personal information of others • Spam, phish, or engage in any other unwanted solicitation • Impersonate another person or entity • Harass, abuse, or harm another person • Use our Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or that we find objectionable for any reason.

JealousRP is a roleplay server, and as such, we expect all users to adhere to the following roleplay guidelines: • Stay in character at all times during roleplay • Respect the roleplay scenarios created by other players • Do not use "metagaming" (using out-of-character knowledge in-character) • Do not use "powergaming" (forcing actions on other players without their consent) • Do not engage in "RDM" (Random Death Match) or "VDM" (Vehicle Death Match) • Follow all server-specific rules and regulations Failure to follow these guidelines may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent ban from our Services.

By submitting, posting, or displaying content on or through our Services, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, modify, and display such content in connection with providing and promoting our Services. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to all content you submit, and that such content does not violate the rights of any third party, including intellectual property rights and privacy rights. We do not claim ownership of your content, but we do need these rights to operate our Services.

All content, features, and functionality of our Services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, are owned by JealousRP, our licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of JealousRP or our affiliates. You may not use such marks without our prior written permission. Garry's Mod is a trademark of Valve Corporation. JealousRP is not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve Corporation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JealousRP and our affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from: • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use our Services • Any conduct or content of any third party on our Services • Any content obtained from our Services • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims exceed the amount you have paid to us, if any, for accessing or using our Services during the twelve (12) months prior to the claim.

You agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms of Service or your use of our Services will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration will be conducted in English and will take place in the state of California, United States, or another location mutually agreed upon by the parties. You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to our Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including, without limitation, if you breach these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use our Services will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using our Services or contact us to request account deletion. All provisions of these Terms of Service which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms of Service at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Services after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use our Services.
